List of Favorite Car/Airplane Activities for Kids

Whether you are planning a roadtrip or a flight, one of the biggest concerns when you have children (especially young ones) is how to keep them busy and/or content. Here is a list of what always goes into our activity bags when we go away from home:

  1. Magnetic doodle boards
  2. I Spy books
  3. Activity/coloring books
  4. Writing/coloring implements
  5. Cards (flash or playing)
  6. Personal music player
  7. Stuffed animals (pretend play)
  8. Books (picture &/or chapter)
  9. Notebooks (for journaling or letterwriting)
  10. Pistachios (a snack AND an activity)

What activity does your family make sure to pack on trips?

Have you ever seen those magnetic boards that have different scenes. We have masses of them from the older two. They have now outgrown them but Alexander loves them. Check them out!
