Father’s Day is nearly here. This week’s The Week Ahead will help you prioritize the steps to making Dad feel extra special. Members to ListPlanIt have access to everything they need to plan Dad’s Day including meal planners, activity planners, gift lists, and more.
- Monday (6/14/2010) U.S. Holiday -> Flag Day – Use this day as a reminder to teach your children the flag’s history and significance. Hang a flag on your house or in your window in support.
- Tuesday (6/15/2010) Finalize Plans for Father’s Day - If all Dad wants is to be left to his armchair with a beer and a bag of potato chips, then you are all set on this one. However, if you want to surprise Dad or plan some of his favorite things, then this day would be a great day to do that.
- Wednesday (6/16/2010) Plan the Menu & Shopping List – Plan the menu for the Father’s Day. Will you grill? Will you eat in a restaurant? Will you invite family & friends? Be sure to spend a few extra minutes making your shopping list so that you don’t forget anything for the big day.
- Thursday (6/17/2010) Shop for Ingredients & Supplies – Get the shopping out of the way. Don’t forget your Shopping List! The fewer trips to the store, the better. Get it now while you still can.
- Friday (6/18/2010) Buy/Make a Card/Gift/Decorations – Give Dad the night off or send him to his friends house so you and the kids can create some heartfelt masterpieces.
- Saturday (6/19/2010) Work First - Mow the lawn, work in the garden, do whatever needs to be done today so that tomorrow will be restful & fun!
- Sunday (6/20/2010) Happy Father’s Day! – Best wishes to all you dads out there! Show the dad in your life just how much he means to you.
