  • Thankful Notebook
    • Decorate the cover of a notebook with fabric and the words THANKFUL NOTEBOOK (get creative here).
    • Date the first page of the book and have each member of your family (and guests)take turns on Thanksgiving using their own page in the notebook to write/draw what they are thankful for that year.
    • Continue each year and you will have a notebook of thanks to add to and enjoy over the years.
  • Turkey Crayon Holder
    • I love using the balloon as a waddle in this!
  • Paper Bag Accordian Books
    • This idea is great for topics such as “Fall Favorites” or “What I am Thankful for”.
  • Turkey Day Pins
    • These use a mini clothespin hot glued on the back instead of something sharp.
  • Turkey Pops
    • A craft and a snack…what more could kids want?
  • Hand and Foot Print Turkeys
    • Grab some red, yellow, orange and brown paint, and you will be all set.  Or, if you don’t like paint, use colorful construction paper instead.
  • Paper Towel Fall Trees
    • Instead of tissue paper for leaves, you could get a pack of thin paper leaves at a dollar or craft store.
  • Chocolate Scarecrow Nuggets
    • Another craft/snack.
  • Pinecone Toms
  • Turkey Nutholder
    • We filled ours with M-Ms.
