Keeping up with a vehicle may seem hard to do when you have so many other things on your plate, but performing a few regular maintenance checks can keep your car, van, or truck running smoothly for years.
- Change the oil in your vehicle every 3 months or after 4,000 miles.
- Get your tires rotated every other oil change, or every 6 months.
- Renew your washer fluid every 3 to 6 months.
- Replace your windshield wiper blades every year.
- Change your air filter every year.
- Regularly check the air pressure in your tires.
- At 30,000 miles, change the transmission fluid.
- At 60,000 miles, change the brake fluid.
- At 60,000 miles, replace all the belts.
Auto maintenance schedules, records, and checklists can be found in Home Management here at ListPlanIt.com.
