I love Christmas! The sights, smells, sounds are all wonderful, but my favorite part might very well be the taste! Cookies rank really high on my list of favorites. I like to make several different kinds throughout the month of December. Here are the cookies that usually make an appearance (and then a quick disappearance – Yum!) in my house.
What cookies say “Christmas” to you? What will you be baking this December?

Chocolate, Oatmeal, Peanutbutter no-bake cookies!
I make an oatmeal, cranberry, white chocolate chip cookie that is just to die for!
I have a lot of baking to do this week… and those are part of what I am baking!
Hi there! I just came over from entrecard and wanted to say how much I love your site! I’m so glad I found you!
All the cookies sound yummy! I make sugar cookies each year with my kids from a recipe my mom gave to me. I remember making sugar cookie Santa faces with chocolate chip eyes when I was a kid, so I guess that’s why it wouldn’t be Christmas for me without those! :)
Snickerdoodles are always around for my Christmas enjoyment! i just love the smell and the taste of the cinnamon!
My cookie exchange cookie is a five-layer bar (should be seven but I skip the nuts and often the butterscotch; they’re still yummy!). But the cookie that says holiday to me is a raspberry thumbprint!
For cookies I mostly do the sugar and gingerbread ones. But the other thing I make only around Christmas, and I’m not sure why, is homemade caramel corn. Not a real “Christmasy” food, but eating it sure helps get me in the mood for Christmas:)
Some of my favorites are here, too! I have to get the kids in the kitchen soon.
