list of steps to take if you find yourself sick as a dog for 4 days straight

I woke up Tuesday morning with an achiness, but it seemed to dissipate by the end of the day. When I woke up Wednesday, I knew I was sick, but little did I know that that sickness would be so awful! Today (Sunday), I am happy to report, I am feeling much better – FINALLY! This list of steps will help you recover from a 24-hour (or longer) bug!

  1. Sleep
  2. Drink lots of juice and tea
  3. Sleep
  4. Accept any & all offers of help
  5. Try not to worry about what is not getting done
  6. Keep tissues well-stocked
  7. Reserve your strength. Avoid refereeing fights and let them play out
  8. The TV makes a great babysitter in times of desperation. Don’t feel guilty. You are sick!
  9. Applesauce is both healthy and soothing to a sore throat
  10. Sleep, Sleep, Sleep!
