Yesterday, we got over a foot of snow here in Maine. It snowed from sun up to sun down, and since we needed to go out in our cars today, we had to put the snowblower into action. While the drive and sidewalk were being cleared, the kids and I put on our warmest winter gear and headed outside for some snowy fun. Here is a list of things we have enjoyed doing in the snow.
- Build a snowman (or a snow family).
- Find a hill and go sledding or snowboarding.
- Build a snow fort complete with tunnels and a doorway.
- Make snow ice cream (a big bowl of clean snow, some sugar, some milk, and a little vanilla).
- Make snow angels.
- Have a snowball fight.
- Build a snow castle with your summer sand toys.
- Take a snowy walk. Great exercise with snow boots and pulling legs through the snow.
- Practice writing in the snow with a stick. Draw snowy pictures.
- Look for animal tracks and try to identify them.
What is your favorite snowy activity?

No one has mentioned, "make yellow snow"
Jennifer, I am speaking to a MOPS group about Home Organization on Thursday. Of course, I will be sharing about your web site "listplanit" because I adore it! Would you be willing to donate a 3 month subscription that I could give away? Let me know what you think!
