The month of October has the distinction of hosting Breast Cancer Awareness Month. No matter your age or your gender, breast cancer affects us all because of the devastation it wreaks on friends and loved ones. There are many ways you can show your support of the women, and even men, who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and remember those who have been taken from their families and communities by their battle with breast cancer.
- Do a monthly breast self-exam.
- Sign a Buddy Check Contract with a friend.
- Find a Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in your area.
- Click to give FREE mammograms at the Breast Cancer Site.com
- Buy some great stuff at the Pink Ribbon Shop
- Donate at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation

How about participating in a Breast Cancer 3-Day walk?!! It is an amazing experience and such a fantastic cause. 2009 sign-ups have started. I should know... just did the SF walk Sept 5-7th!
