I have been to the first portion of a great conference here in Houston called Mom 2.0 Summit.  It is billed as “an open conversation between moms and marketers” and since I am both, I knew I had to be at this conference.  Last night was a Mad Men themed party in which everyone was dressed in the swanky 60s style of business.  Everyone looked gorgeous and vintage.  It was so much fun and I met face-to-face many people I have known online for awhile and many people that I haven’t known about but am glad I know now.  One thing that is common here. . .we all have a vision and a passion and hope to share it with others. • Mimi Brian Vance of WordsBytheHandful.com, which is dedicated to nurturing baby’s earliest language through signs.
• Allison Czarnecki, founder of petit elephant, her family lifestyle blog.  Also co-host with Marie of MakeandTakes.com of today’s Cambria Cove suite.

Honestly, I’ve met so many more wonderful people.  I think I will have to write a 2nd post later today.
